I am a computer programmer with a very strong aptitude for programming in a variety of languages and a lot of experience in commercial software development. My stand-out skill is SQL, and C++ is basically my mother tongue. But I am quite happy to use whatever scripting or prototyping language makes sense for any given task. Except COBOL. Don't ask me to code in COBOL; I'll leave.
I am also a dog lover with a passion for Australian Shepherds. I have three: Nella (short for Janelle), Rosie and Ollie. Nella is a tri-black miniature aussie female. Rosie is a small tri-red standard aussie female. Ollie is a tri-red standard aussie male. Our pack has a mascot: Al, a ginger tabby who's too cool for school.
